Christmas Party

We had a Christmas party at our house for my extended family. There was lots of kiddos there for Rylan to play with. She especially liked playing with Kennedy. She has even named one of her dolls Kennedy. The grown ups had a Chinese gift exchanged and the kids drew names. Both of my cousins have babies so it was fun to see them. Then one of my cousins has twin boys so Luke and Logan enjoyed playing with them. It was great to see everyone and we had lots of fun!

Cupcake Party

Rylan had a pink cupcake party because she slept in her bed all week (well, this was 3 weeks ago). I was sleeping on the floor to get her to sleep in her own bed but now I don't even have to do that. She will sleep in there all night, sometimes. Anyways I asked her what she wanted as a surprise if she slept in her bed all week and she said a cupcake party. So on the Friday of that week we made pink cupcakes with pink icing and Dora on top. Luke, Logan, Uncle Brent and Aunt Lesli came over to enjoy the party. Way to go Rylan!!!!!!

Playing with Addy

The de Wolfe's were in town over Thanksgiving break. Jen brought Addy over to play one evening with Rylan. They enjoyed jumping on her bed and eating snacks in the big green chair while watching Dora. It was so great to see them and hang out. We can't wait until next time!

Thanksgiving in Waco

We went to Waco to visit Meemaw McFalls for Thanksgiving. We went down on Wednesday and spent the night. Rylan got to roast marshmellows, sing Karoke, and dance. Candi, Jen and I had a great time singing loud and proud on the microphone. Everyone else enjoyed making fun of us (except Candi she is actually pretty good). The next day we ate and ate then went home to another Thanksgiving and ate some more.

Park

It was such a gorgeous day yesterday, we took a walk to the park. We loaded up Rylan's stroller with snacks and drinks then headed to the park. We have a really great trail right behind our house and it leads directly to the park. Rylan went down all the slides including the tallest one there. Then we ran a little ways on the trail. When we got home, Rylan was out for a really long nap.

Rainforest Cafe

After going to the Gaylord, we decided to go eat dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Rylan enjoyed looking at the animals especially when they went crazy. We sat by the gorillas, which she named one Daddy, Mommy and Rylan. We also saw Nemo in the fish tank.

Gaylord Texan in Grapevine

Last night Ryan, Rylan, and I went to the Gaylord in Grapevine. The hotel was decked out for Christmas. First we went through ICE! It wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be, I guess I prepared myself well for it. Plus they gave us big coats on top of the coats we brought. It was so cool, everything was made out of ice. Rylan went down the ice slide. She couldn't get going on her bottom so she decided to go down head first. After ICE we walked around the hotel. We got to see and get a picture with Santa in his workshop. We saw Mrs. Claus with the reindeer. We got to pet the reindeer. Rylan wasn't satisfied with just petting, she wanted to feed them. They also took our picture there. Then we saw a huge Christmas tree, some trains, and a gingerbread house. It was really pretty! We all enjoyed it and it put us in the Christmas mood.

Thanksgiving in Athens

We celebrated Thanksgiving early with my Nana in Athens. We went down there on Sunday to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family and watch the football game. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We ate a lot, played, took a nap, ate some more and played some more. We also helped Nana put up her Christmas tree. What enjoyable day!

Happy Birthday Aunt Lesli

We went to dinner and celebrate Aunt Lesli's birthday Saturday night. That was the first time that ALL (Grammy, Grampy, Brent, Lesli, Luke, Logan, Ryan, Me, and Rylan) of us have been together in a long time. It was so much fun!

Aunt Jen's B-Day

We celebrated Aunt Jen's birthday a couple of weeks ago! Happy Birthday Aunt Jen!

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! We went across the street to Kathy's house for Halloween. We hot dogs, chili, tons of snacks, and lots of candy to hand out. We sat in the front drive and passed out candy. The kids got treat bags from Grammy and Grampy. Then we went around the block to go trick or treating. Grammy, Grampy, Uncle Brent, Aunt Lesli, Luke and Logan came over to join in the fun. Rylan dressed up as Abby, Luke was a race car driver and Logan was Diego. They had a great time going door to door saying trick or treat!

Halloween Party

Every year Ryan's uncle has a Halloween party. All the adults get dressed up and have a really good time. There is a band and a dance floor and everyone plays the part of their costume.

We went to Boo at the Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo with Grammy, Grampy, Uncle Brent, Aunt Lesli, Luke, and Logan. The kids enjoyed looking at the animals, getting treats from the treat stands, and playing on the playground! It was a lot of fun! Can't wait to go back next year

Halloween Lights

At Quick Trip Park, they had Halloween Lights set up, so we went to check it out. They weren't the greatest, but Rylan enjoyed it. She liked looking at the lights and jumping in the bounce house.
