Weekend

It was a pretty laid back weekend. Rylan spent the night with Mimi on Friday, but we didn't take her over there until about 9:00, so I got to spend a lot of time with her. Then on Saturday we went to Athens to visit Nana. We ate at the Marina and then hung out at the house. On Sunday we didn't do much of anything but run a few errands and watch football. We did get to see Luke and Logan, Uncle Brent and Grammy and Grampy again! So that was fun.

Potty Prize

Rylan got a prize today for going potty in the big girl potty. She has been doing a really great job at going to the potty, but sometimes there is an accident. So I told her that she could get a prize if she went in the potty. Her prize was a Dora nightgown and slippers. She was very proud of them and had to put it on as soon as she got it. I was able to get some pictures of her in the Dora nightgown before she took the biggest poo ever in them! So needless to say

This Past Week

Well, I thought we weren't going to have very busy week last week, but I was totally wrong.

On Monday night we went over to Ryan's Meemaw's and Peepaw's house to pick up the pink Barbie car. Rylan loves her pink car. She really likes the phone that it is has in it. I'm glad she likes it because she makes me a nervous wreck! She is a complete maniac on that thing. She knows how to steer, but will only do it when it is convient for her (so practically never).

On Tuesday we went to Chuck E Cheese for my school fundraiser. Grammy, Uncle Brent, Luke and Logan also got to go and play and eat pizza. The kids had a blast. The adults had fun to playing the games. Brent and Ryan had some serious football competition going on.

Wednesday and Thursday night we were busy too. I had a meeting on Wednesday and Rylan got to go play with Mimi while her Daddy and Pops worked on a project. Then on Thursday, Rylan and I went shopping with Grammy.

Friday and Saturday were Rylan's party days. She couldn't wait for the weekend because we had a party to go to on both days. Friday night was Candi's birthday so we had Ryan's family over for dinner. Rylan had to get her birthday cake, it was pink of course. Then on Saturday we had a wedding shower to go to with Grammy. The whole time Rylan thought it was a birthday party and kept singing happy birthday to the bride. So after the shower we went shopping with Grammy while we were waiting for Grampy to get ready for dinner, and Rylan found this huge Dora pillow and a Mermaid pillow that she just had to have. So of course being the suckers that we are we bought them for her. During dinner she talked Grampy into going to the car, well they came back with the huge Dora pillow. So she ate with us. After dinner we did more shopping and then went home.

What a fun filled week and weekend!

Logan's Birthday Party

Logan turned 2 on Sunday, so we went over to their house for a big birthday bash. Rylan had a great time! She ate cake, opened presents, played with new toys, and got to ride the big red truck. Logan had a great birthday! It was a great time. We are glad that we were able to celebrate with him!

Our Weekend

We had a busy, but relaxing weekend. On Friday night we just stayed home and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We sat outside with Kathy, ordered pizza and hung out. Then on Saturday, our new cleaning lady came (I love her) and we relaxed by the pool at Aunt Jen's. Saturday night was our 10 year class reunion. Jen and Jason came over and we went to eat before the big event. It was really fun to go to the reunion and see everyone! Yesterday was my Dad's birthday dinner. We watched the Cowboy game and cooked steaks. The kids had a great time playing and we had fun being lazy watching the game.

Lake O' The Pines

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Lake O' The Pines with Ryan's family, The Graces, The Galindos, and The Schewees. We had fun riding in the boat, swimming at the pool and just hanging out! It was a very relaxing weekend!

The Park

We went to visit Grammy and Grampy last week, and while we were there we went to the park. It was a nice night to play outside. Rylan loves going to the park when we go over to visit Double G!

Big Girl Bed

We finally switched Rylan's bed to a big girl bed! She loves the idea of her big girl bed but she still won't sleep in it. We are working real hard on this. Wish us luck!
