Hanging at Grammy and Grampy's

We had dinner at Grammy and Grampy's house on Sunday. The kids enjoyed jumping off the couch onto pillows and swimming naked.

Family Night

We had family night at my new school on Tuesday and the whole gang came! It was so much fun to show everyone where everything is. Plus it was great for them to see where I will be spending a lot of my time. I am so glad everyone was able to come!

The Lake

We were able to go to the lake on Saturday. We were worried at first that it would rain but it turned out to be a great day on the water. Grammy and Grampy and Uncle Brent went out with us on our boat. Then we met Kathy and Rusty out there on their boat. They have the perfect boat for Rylan to run around on. After running around on the boat and swimming in the water, Kathy and Rusty made their cushions into a bed for Rylan. She curled up in the front of the boat and took a nap while watching Deigo on the DVD player. We had a great time!

I'm Working

On Friday Rylan and Grammy went to Mommy's classroom. Daddy even came to set up the tent and he brought lunch! They were a huge help in setting it up and getting it ready. Rylan had a blast being able to go to work. She always want to go to work with me and on Friday she did. We didn't make it to the circus we had a great day working in the room and then we went shopping. It was a full day of fun! Thanks for all the help.

Athens

On Sunday everybody went to Athens to visit my Grandmother. Well almost everybody, Daddy was sick and Lesli was working. So everyone else went. We had so much fun and a great visit. My dad and brother grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs then for dessert we ate cake. After dinner mom and the kids helped Nana by watering the plants. I'm not sure what got more water the plants or the kids' clothes, but they had fun. After all the hard work of water Uncle Brent had bought some fun grape drinks to enjoy on the porch. Then after all the fun of drinking and wearing grape Grammy and Grampy helped hose the troops down. We also did a lot of playing and trying to take a nap by watching Diego and Dora. It wasn't a very successful nap. We had a blast in Athens. Can't wait to go back!

Opening Ceremonies

We went to Mimi's and Pop's house to watch the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics last Friday. Rylan, Aunt Jen, and Candi enjoyed dancing and doing Thi Chi along with the TV. It was quite entertaining.

Playdate

Rylan had a playdate last Tuesday with Josie. I had some good teacher friends over for lunch and Sunny has a one year old daughter, Josie. So Rylan and Josie got to play while we had lunch. Donna doesn't have kids of her own but she enjoyed watching the girls show off. For the most part they played great. Josie pretty much did exactly what Rylan wanted so it went well.

Last Week

We had a very busy week last week. We went to Aunt Jen's and went swimming twice. The first time with Daddy and Bailey and the second time with Uncle Brent, Luke, Bubba, and Bailey. I think Rylan might be turning into a fish. Then we went to the mall and played on the inside playground with Luke and Bubba. It was fun but a lot of work trying to keep up with those three and a mean boy bullying kids. We also went to Daddy's game. Rylan loves to hang out with Grace and steal his hat and glove. Then next time you see her you need to ask her what Grace does. It is pretty entertaining. Then it was off to the river for a wet n wild weekend. Bailey even got to come down and play. After last week no wonder we are not so busy this week.

The Water Park

Rylan loves to go to the water park. Hawaiian Falls just opened this summer out in Mansfield so we like to go and visit at least once a week. She loves to play in the waterfalls, slide down the slide, float the lazy river and ride the waves in the wave pool. It is a lot of fun for the both of us.

Chuck E Cheese

We got to go to Chuck E Cheese for the first time a couple of weeks ago with her cousins. They had a blast riding in the big truck, meeting the mouse, dancing on stage and riding the horse. It was a blast!
